I’ve always loved photography, but my passion moved up a gear when I started working at the world’s largest photo agency, Getty Images. I was fortunate to be surrounded by some of the very best editorial photographers in the world and whilst working there as a Senior Picture Desk Editor, I edited literally thousands of their images every week. Natural curiosity really took over, how was that image created?
After spending seven years at Getty Images, where in between work hours as an Editor, I would photograph live music gigs, red carpets and fashion shows for the company. I had built my knowledge and confidence in photography to a level where I was ready to leave the editing desk behind and pick up a camera full time.
I have continued to work for Getty Images as a Freelance Photographer on commercial and editorial assignments from 2010 until present. Highlights have included working at the Microsoft Build: AI Day in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand in 2024. The Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and I’m excited to be covering the upcoming Paris 2024 Summer Paralympics.
From 2011 until late 2019, I worked as the Chief Photographer at Time Out Melbourne. Over the years I had the opportunity to discover and photograph some of the most amazing cafes, restaurants, bars and people my hometown of Melbourne has to offer.
I am commissioned by a number of clients in Australia and abroad including photo agency Getty Images with over sixty thousand images on their editorial archive.
